Free Nonfiction Audio Books

HOW TO DOWNLOAD: Instead of left-clicking (the normal way) on the Play button to the left of the song title, right-click on the button instead. From the menu that pops up, choose “Save Target as”, “Save Link As” or “Save Linked Content As”…depending on which browser you’re using. A dialogue box will then pop up in most browsers, asking where you’d like to save the MP3 file. In some cases, the file will begin to download to your default download location, without asking where you’d like it save (often, the desktop).

We tend to think of nonfiction as instructional or inspiring literature…the nuts and bolts of what happens behind the scenes.

And yet…as Mark Twain said, “Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn’t.”

So nonfiction can often be more interesting than good fiction…and more amazing since it is purported to be based on reality of some sort.

We don’t know what kind of texts will be added to this category in the future…but you may well want to keep an eye on it…just in case.
